We should all be proud, pleased and thankful for the great job our hard-working Howell Township Council members are doing.
I recently read that the council members passed a resolution making their position clear in being opposed to sanctuary state and sanctuary city status for illegal aliens.
There is no doubt they have this town’s citizens’ best interests in mind. I fully agree that sanctuary policies are harmful to the health, safety and welfare of Howell and this state. You can easily investigate and learn about the negative impact illegal immigration has had on this country.
Also, thank you, council members, for your stand that the state should instead focus on reducing spending and providing property tax relief to the legal residents and taxpayers of the state.
