J.P. Stevens Band Program to present winter concert on Feb. 14

The John P. Stevens Band Program will present its annual winter concert at 7 p.m. on Feb. 14 at the school, 855 Grove Ave., Edison.

Under the direction of Andrew DeNicola and John Zazzali, the program’s Symphonic Band, Freshman Band, and nationally-recognized Wind Ensemble will perform.

The event is free and open to the community.

In related news, 36 students were selected through audition in December to the Central Jersey Region Band; four of those students were selected on a second instrument. More recently, 22 students were selected through audition to the All-State Band; three of those students were selected on a second instrument. These selections represent the largest number from any one school in New Jersey.
