Three men charged in Eatontown shooting

Three men are facing charges related to the shooting of a 20-year-old man in Eatontown in March, Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni announced.

According to a press release, John Carozza, 18, of Middletown, Rashahn Tucker,
19, of Middletown, and Leo Morabito, 21, of Keansburg, have each been charged with two counts of attempted murder, one count of possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and one count of unlawful possession of a weapon.

All three individuals were initially placed in the Monmouth County jail, Freehold Township.

According to Gramiccioni, police officers were dispatched to 174 Main St., Eatontown, just before 5 p.m. March 13 in response to a 911 call reporting a man had been shot.

Upon arrival, police officers found a 20-year-old male resident of Eatontown with gunshot wounds. He was transported to an area hospital where he was treated for what the prosecutor described as a serious injury.
