Congregation B’nai Israel, Rumson, has announced that Peter Sagal, the host of National Public Radio’s “Wait Wait … Don’t Tell Me,” will moderate a discussion about “The Plot Against America” by Philip Roth on Oct. 20 at 7 p.m. as part of a “Congregation Read.”

Earlier this year, HBO broadcast a six-part miniseries adaptation of “The Plot Against America.” Sagal will moderate a discussion about the novel, the miniseries, the history on which both are based, and its relation to the nation’s current moment, according to a press release.
