A small mulch fire was reported at the Princeton Elks Lodge on Route 518 at 4:41 p.m. April 9. Firefighters from Montgomery Volunteer Fire Co. No. 2 extinguished the fire, which was found to have been caused by a discarded lit match. There was no damage to the Elks Lodge.

A 30-year-old Hillsborough Township man was charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) April 8 after a police officer stopped to investigate a vehicle that was parked on the side of Opossum Road near Route 206 with its hazard lights flashing at 10:10 p.m. April 8. The man was processed and released.

A jacket was reported stolen from the rear wall at the Princeton Fitness and Wellness Center on State Road/Route 206. The victim was exercising at the gym April 7 and discovered his jacket was missing after he had finished working out. The theft was reported on April 8.

A 57-year-old Belle Mead man was charged with driving while intoxicated at 6:33 p.m. April 6. A police officer stopped to investigate a report of a man asleep in a car with the engine running in the Wawa parking lot on Route 206. The officer woke up the man and determined that he had been DWI. He was processed and released.
