Virtual Concert – Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) spotlights soloists of South Africa’s renowned Buskaid Soweto String Ensemble in the second online concert of its on-demand series, Buskaid – A Musical Miracle. Buskaid-trained musicians violinists Mzwandile Twala, Kabelo Monnathebe, and Simiso Radebe and vocalist Mathapelo Matabane along with other Ensemble artists perform in a showcase of Soulful and Scintillating Solos ranging from Ernest Bloch’s Nigun to popular songs and South African kwela music.
