On Sunday, March 22, 2020 at 7:30 pm, the Beth El Synagogue of East Windsor, Mercer County Genealogy Society presents “Where Do You Plant Your Tree?”. You have collected a lot of family memorabilia. You drew up a family tree on a piece of paper and put in in a drawer. How do you share it with other family members? How do you preserve it for future generations? Will it all be lost, or discarded some day?

Creating a digital family tree is one good method. But which one should you use? Off-line keeps things private. On-line trees are easy to share and also helpful to gain more information. Maybe do both? Susan Kobrin will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each and discuss the features of various commercial family tree programs.

Susan is currently the President of the Jewish Genealogical Society of North Jersey and over the years attended many international conferences. She has been avidly researching her own family history since 1988 and has connected with several “lost” family members over the years through research as well as DNA.

Beth El Synagogue is located at 50 Maple Stream Road, East Windsor, NJ, 08520; 609-443-4454; www.bethel.net.
