This fun-filled workshop combines playful imagination and technical experimentation, empowering us to experience the magic of seeing the unseen through movement and long exposure. Learning the basics of light painting gives us new ways to creatively experiment with the color and qualities of the light source and with the aesthetics of the photograph. We’ll begin with a discussion and demonstrations of the basics, camera settings and ways to use Light Painting tools supplied by Chanette. We will head outdoors after sunset to experiment and create art. You will leave the workshop with dramatic, imaginative and surprising images for your portfolio.
