John P. Stevens High School’s Spring Concert to be held May 11

The John P. Stevens Band Program will be presenting their Spring Concert on May 11 at 7 p.m. at the school, located at 855 Grove Avenue in Edison. The program’s symphonic band, freshman band, and nationally recognized wind ensemble will be performing.

The John P. Stevens Band Program will be hosting the world premiere of Bruce Yurko’s exceptional piece dedicated to the John P. Stevens Wind Ensemble. “Scenes for Wind Ensemble” will be conducted by Bruce Yurko.

Along with Yurko’s piece, All-Eastern flute player Jessica Ho will be playing her senior solo from the opera “Carmen” by Bizet.

This free event is open to the community.
