Route 1 north ramp to Garden State Parkway in Woodbridge will close tonight, tomorrow night for bridge repair

WOODBRIDGE – The Route 1 northbound ramp to the Garden State Parkway northbound in Woodbridge will close for two nights for a bridge deck replacement project.

From 8 p.m. March 28 until 5 a.m. March 30, the New Jersey Turnpike Authority’s contractor, Northeast Remsco Construction, Inc., will conduct pavement crack sealing, according to officials from the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

Motorists on Route 1 north will be directed to continue straight and pass the Woodbridge Center Drive intersection. Stay right immediately after the traffic light and take the U-turn jug handle exit. Follow signs around the jug handle for Gill Lane. Stay left at the fork after the jug handle to make a left onto Route 1 south. Stay right on Route 1 south and take the exit for Garden State Parkway north.
