Celebrate cultural diversity during Metuchen World Day

Metuchen World Day, which is a celebration of cultural diversity in the borough, in honor of the United Nations World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development, will be held from noon to 3 p.m. on May 20 at the Old Franklin Schoolhouse, Middlesex Avenue.

The event will include song and dance, food, and languages/traditions from the cultures and ethnicities representing the residents of Metuchen. It is a family-friendly event, with a play/coloring station for children and performances by adults and children. All ages are welcome.

The event is hosted by the Metuchen Human Relations Commission.
