On June 6 at South Brunswick High School, the Old Bridge High School boys’ volleyball team won the NJSIAA championship –its second straight– with a 2-1 victory over Fair Lawn High School. The Knights took the first set, 25-19, dropped the second set, 25-17, and clinched the state title with a 25-18 decision in the third stanza.

Old Bridge also won the state title last spring with a 2-1 victory over Southern Regional High School. That was the first state championship in the program’s history. The Knights have gone 74-7 over the past two seasons.
