Joan R. Morgan, 89, of Hamilton Square, NJ, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton.
Born in Trenton, she lived in Mercerville and graduated Cathedral High School in Trenton in 1953. In 1958 she moved to Hamilton Square where she married David Morgan and raised her children. Joan was known as the neighborhood mom to her son’s friends. She worked of almost 20 years as an executive assistant for the President of Dataram Corporation in West Windsor and would often travel to their trade shows. In her free time, Mrs. Morgan loved to gamble, especially roulette. Joan wanted to be a comedian and was always ready to tell a joke for laughs.
Predeceased by her parents, Leon Joseph and Freda E. (Stanko) Kelly; her husband, David F. Morgan; her son David B. Morgan; and her brother Leon Kelly; she is survived by her son, Dan Morgan of Hamilton Square and his fiancée, Saskia Thius; her daughter-in-law, Jan Morgan; and her grandchildren, Nicole Leigh Morgan and Christopher Lee Morgan.
A Gathering will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., with a Funeral Service to begin at 10:00 a.m., at Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.
Entombment will follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery Mausoleum, Hamilton, NJ.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home.
