Raymond L. Rudolph, 90, of Hamilton, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Serenity Hospice of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton.
Born and raised in Oaklyn, NJ, Mr. Rudolph came to Hamilton 51 years ago. He graduated from Collingswood High School and received his Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Drexel University where he began his internship with RCA. He remained with the company as an electrical engineer for the better part of his career, primarily working for RCA Somerville.

Mr. Rudolph was in his glory listening to organ music, classical was his favorite. He was an avid train enthusiast and was a long time member of the National Historical Railroad Society. He was a member of Gothic Mercer Lodge #270 F&A M; Trenton Forest #4 of the Tall Cedars of Lebanon; and Boudinot Chapter #3, of the New Jersey York Rite Royal Arch of NJ. He was a Life Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). He was previously a volunteer with Mobile Meals of Hamilton and the Nottingham Squares Senior Citizens Club. He served his faith throughout his life, having been a member or officer of the Church Council of several congregations he chose to be a part of to express and rejoice in his love of the Lord.

Predeceased by his parents, Raymond G. and Mildred (Llewellyn) Rudolph, his wife, Lorraine (Ruether) Rudolph, and his sister, Althea McArthur; he is survived by his two daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy Rudolph-Myers and Edward Myers, and Mary-Frances and Martin Bartels; his grandchildren, Stephen and his wife Marie, Kyle, and Ryan Bartels, and Edward Tyler Myers; his great grandchildren, Nathaniel, Kelson, and Isaac Bartels; his brother, William Rudolph and his wife Jennifer; and his dear friend, Janice Hofreiter.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 9:15 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. at the Lutheran Church of the Messiah, 407 Nassau Street, Princeton, New Jersey. A 10:30 a.m. church service will follow.
Interment will follow at Princeton Memorial Park in Robbinsville. Masonic services will be at the gravesite.
