Concetta Ann Baker (Connie), 82, of Hamilton, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Chambersburg, NJ, Connie resided there until she and her husband, Bob, settled in Groveville, NJ, where they raised their family. In Groveville, she was actively involved in the Groveville School PTA, the Hamilton Jaycees, and the Robbinsville Elks. Connie worked in the Student Activities Department at Mercer County Community College, waitressed at the family restaurant, Tony Cals, and held a sales position at Thompson Software International in Princeton.
In 1995, Connie and Bob moved to Port St. Lucie, Florida, where she became a Platinum Level Real Estate Agent for ReMax 100 and a top salesperson since 2003. In addition to her real estate career, she was a member of the West St. Lucie Elks and the Italian American Club. Connie enjoyed playing mahjong, golfing, spending time at the beach, and entertaining family, friends, and neighbors. If there was a dance party, she would be there.
Above all, Connie cherished the time spent with her family and friends, whether on trips to Disney, cruising, relaxing at the beach or pool, hosting gatherings, or passing down family traditions. She loved her Italian heritage, and all holidays centered around cherished family recipes passed down through generations.
Concetta was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Frances (Petito) DiMarcello, and her husband of 61 years, Robert A. Baker Sr. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Robert Jr. (Bob) and Karen Baker of Hamilton, NJ, Grace and Greg Mazzatta of Point Pleasant, NJ, and Denise Powers of Hamilton, NJ. She is also survived by her grandchildren and their spouses, Ian and Stephanie Baker, Brayden Baker, Kyle and Kiersten Baker, Sara Baker, Declan Reilly, Trevor and Alexa Reilly, Justin Mazzatta, Shane Powers, and Morgan Powers; her great-grandchildren, Helena, Emery, Caden, and Ailee Baker; her brother and spouse, Joe and Carol DiMarcello; her sister-in-law, Ellen Baker; her cousin, Grace and Jack Duvelsdorf; and many beloved family members and friends.
