The Hopewell Emergency Medical Unit, Capital Health EMS and the Princeton First Aid and Rescue Squad also responded.

A preliminary investigation into the cause of the fire, which left the house with heavy damage, did not point to anything suspicious, police said. All fires in Hopewell Township are investigated as suspicious until proven otherwise.
