Suspect sought in credit card fraud

FARMINGDALE – The New Jersey State Police is seeking the public’s assistance to identify a man who is wanted for making purchases with a fraudulent credit card in Farmingdale.

Police said that on Sept. 21, the man was captured on video surveillance allegedly stealing more than $600 worth of merchandise by making purchases with a fraudulent credit card at the Farmingdale Liquor Store and the Shop-N-Bag grocery store.

The suspect was observed on video surveillance driving a silver Ford sedan with New York license plates.

Anyone with information is asked to contact New Jersey State Police Hamilton Station at 609-584-5000, ext. 5287. Anonymous tips are welcome.
