Arts-insurance seminar coming to Monroe

The Monroe Township Community Education Program will present a seminar titled “For the Arts Professional: What Kind of Insurance Do You Need to Protect Your Creative Assets?” 5:30-7 p.m. Oct. 25 and Nov. 3 at Monroe Township High School, 200 Schoolhouse Road.

The event will offer an overview of the variety of insurance coverage available to assist creative-industry personnel — writers, dancers, stage and musical performers, teachers, promoters, producers, visual and media artists in all genres — to protect their equipment, events, work spaces and intellectual property. Guest presenters will be Edward van Eckert and Lawrence McCullough of Edward van Eckert Farmers Insurance Agency.

Seminar fee is $8 per person. Registration is required.
