Founded by Jennifer Szeto, an art educator with a BFA in Illustration from Syracuse University and an MA in Art Teaching from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, the studio provides structured creative learning opportunities.
Szeto, who has also studied at Central Saint Martin’s School of Art and Design in London and the Arts Students League in New York City, is certified to teach kindergarten through 12th grade and has taught courses in Fine Arts, Applied Arts, AP Studio Art, Portfolio Development, Arts & Technology, Art & Film, Arts & Humanities, and Design Concepts, with experience working for The Mural Arts Program, The Clay Studio, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s Family & Children’s Program.
Inspired by her daughters’ early artistic experiences and research on creativity by Sir Ken Robinson and Peter Gray, Szeto established Leaping Dog Art Studios as a space for accessible and structured artistic development.
