Immediate Care Medical Walk-In of Hazlet is offering allergy testing and treatment plans as seasonal allergy symptoms continue to thrive.

Due to late snow accumulation in March and heavy rainfall in April, this allergy season is predicted to affect people differently than in prior years. Peak pollen levels are expected to occur throughout May in New Jersey with different regions experiencing varying levels of grass and tree pollen, according to a press release.

“We have seen allergy symptoms significantly affect quality of life. This is why we are happy to now offer allergy testing and even immunotherapy for those who need it,” Dr. Lisa Golding-Granado said.

Immediate Care Medical Walk-In has nine urgent care locations throughout central and southern New Jersey. Its Hazlet facility is located at 1376 Route 36.

Allergy symptoms and treatment options vary for each person based on their individual allergen. The most common symptoms for seasonal allergies are sneezing, runny or stuffy nose, wheezing, shortness of breath, itchy and watery eyes, cough, rash, fatigue and headache, according to the press release.

Immediate Care welcomes all patients and participates with most major insurance plans and Medicare.
