Road improvement work begins on Etra Road

Mercer County has begun road improvement to Etra Road between South Main Street in Hightstown and Milford Road in East Windsor.
The project, which began this week, is expected to be completed in about a month, according to Mercer County officials.
The first phase will be pipe and drainage installation work from South Main Street in Hightstown to Ward Street. The second phase will be milling and paving of this section, during which the roadway will be closed during work hours and detours will be clearly posted for motorists.
The third phase will be milling and paving from Ward Street to Milford Road, during which the roadway will be closed during work hours and detour posted.
Work hours will be Monday through Friday will be from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Full, unrestricted access will be permitted during non-work hours and local resident access will be available at all times. 
