Close to 1,000 people attended a Chocolate and Wine event sponsored by Greater Media Newspapers at Branches, 123 Monmouth Road in West Long Branch last weekend. Craftsmen, chocolatiers, wine purveyors, jewelry makers and many others offered their wares at the second annual event. Winners included: the Best Bite award went to Nothing Bundt Cakes of Shrewsbury;  the Best Display award went to The Caramel Shop located in Ocean; and the Best Artisan award went to Neckspressions, a traveling artisan.
