Marty Schneit, a licensed New York City tour guide, will conduct a simulated trip back to the Lower East Side at 10 a.m., Jan. 22, at Congregation Beth Ohr, 70 Route 516, Old Bridge.
His presentation, accompanied by a free bagel breakfast sponsored jointly by Beth Ohr’s Men’s Club and Daytimers, will cover Schimmel’s Knishes, Katz’s Deli, the Daily Forward, Irving Berlin, Eddie Cantor, George Burns and more.
