Hillsborough Township Police blotter

Oct. 3 – A 36-year-old Hillsborough Township woman was charged with simple assault after an investigation into an assault that took place at the Hillsborough Rotary Fair on Aug. 18.

Oct. 6 – Graffiti was found in the skateboard park of Ann Van Middlesworth Park. The damage is valued at $500. The investigation is ongoing.

Oct. 6 – A resident of Updike Ave reported her license plates stolen off her vehicle that was parked in the driveway. She valued the plates at $140.00. The investigation is ongoing.

Oct. 8 – Graffiti was found in the men’s room of Ann Van Middlesworth Park. The damage is estimated at $50.00. The investigation is ongoing.

Oct. 8 – A 28-year-old Manville man was issued a summons for disorderly conduct after he was found sleeping on the median of Route 206. He was processed and released

Oct. 8 – A 63-year-old Union City man was charged with DWI (driving while intoxicated) while on a traffic stop on Amwell Road. He was processed and released.

Oct. 9 – Two unlocked vehicles were entered in the parking lot of Sourland Park, 439 East Mountain Road. Cash and credit cards were taken. The public is reminded to lock their vehicles at all times.

Oct. 9 – A resident of Sunnymead Road reported $300 worth of lights were stolen from a construction site. There are no suspects at this time. The investigation is ongoing.

Oct. 9 – An unlocked vehicle was entered while parked at the ShopRite, 601 Route 206. A USB cord and $60 were taken. The investigation is ongoing.

Oct. 12 – A 25-year-old Hillsborough Township man was arrested for littering and hindering an investigation by not identifying himself.

Oct. 14 – A 19-year-old of Latrobe, Pa. man, a 19-year-old of Abington, Pa. woman, and a 19-year-old of Philadelphia man were all charged with theft and criminal mischief after they were found to have broken into a drink cooler at the K Fuel, 144 Route 206, and stole Powerades and sodas. The value of the items was $233.00.

Oct. 15 – A 35-year-old Jersey City man was charged with DWI while on a traffic stop on Route 206. He was processed and released.

Oct. 16 – Two residents on Woodruff Blvd reported the catalytic converters were stolen off their vehicles. The investigation is ongoing.

Oct. 16 – A 40-year-old Hillsborough Township woman was charged with DWI during a motor vehicle crash investigation on Millstone River Road. She was processed and released.

Oct. 16 – A 47-year-old Hillsborough Township man was charged with DWI during a motor vehicle crash investigation on Marshal Road. He was processed and released.

Oct. 17 – A resident reported the catalytic converter was stolen from his vehicle while parked on Alpine Court. They valued it at $2,000. The investigation is ongoing.

Oct. 19 – A resident of Annandale, Hunterdon County, reported their unlocked vehicle was entered while at the Sourland Park, 439 East Mountain Road. Cash and credit cards were taken from the vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.

Oct. 20 – A 64-year-old Skillman man was charged with DWI during a motor vehicle crash investigation on Route 206. He was processed and released.

Oct. 21 – A 45-year-old Belle Mead man was charged with DWI while on a traffic stop on the Route 206 Bypass. He was processed and released.

Oct. 22 – A 31-year-old Manville man was charged with resisting arrest after it was found he had outstanding warrants. He was processed and released.

Oct. 24 – Bottle King, 626 Route 206, reported a white female stole $300 worth of alcohol from the store. The female then fled in a red Honda CRV. The investigation is ongoing.

Oct. 28 – A 29-year-old Edison man was charged with DWI while on a traffic stop on Amwell Road. He was processed and released.

Oct. 29 – A 48-year-old Hillsborough Township woman was charged with DWI while on a traffic stop on Andria Ave. She was processed and released.

Oct. 29 – A 42-year-old Manville man was charged with DWI while on a traffic stop on Route 206. He was processed and released.
