In order to remember, and most importantly, learn from the past, the Holocaust Council of the Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest has offered its Survivor Speak program for the past 15 years.  Join the Woodbridge Public Library virtually April 26 at 7PM as we hear from a Holocaust survivor followed by a question-and-answer session.

Registration is required. Please register here https://bit.ly/36x7ypV or call 732-634-4450.

The Holocaust Council of MetroWest was established with the goal of providing the resources and information necessary to educate our community about the Holocaust. It strives to honor both those that survived and those that perished during this horrific period. Though survivors of the Holocaust will not always be able to share their stories with future generations in person, it is our hope and mission to ensure that these individuals and their experiences are never forgotten.

April 27 is Holocaust Remembrance Day (Yom HaShoah) in Israel! In Hebrew, Holocaust Remembrance Day is called Yom Hashoah. When the actual date of Yom Hashoah falls on a Friday, the state of Israel observes Yom Hashoah on the preceding Thursday. When it falls on a Sunday, Yom Hashoah is observed on the following Monday. In the United States, Days of Remembrance runs from the Sunday before Yom Hashoah through the following Sunday.

On the day before the program you will be sent the Zoom meeting information by email. Please note that if you are using Zoom on a tablet or smartphone you will need to download the Zoom app.
