The John P. Stevens Band Program will present its annual Winter Concert starting at 7 p.m. on Feb.15 at the high school, which is located at 855 Grove Ave., Edison.
Under the direction of Andrew DeNicola and John Zazzali, the program’s Symphonic Band, Freshman Band and nationally-recognized Wind Ensemble will be performing.
The John P. Stevens Band Program is proud to announce that 41 students were selected through audition in December to the Central Jersey Region Band, and seven of those students were selected with a second instrument.
More recently, 22 students were selected through audition to the All-State Band, and eight were selected to the All-Eastern Band, which is comprised of students from 13 states on the east coast. These selections represent the largest number from any one school.
This free event is open to the community.
