‘Sunday Funday’ to promote understanding of disabilities

Disabilities Allies and the Future Teachers Association at Rutgers University’s New Brunswick campus are organizing an afternoon of activities to promote socialization and understanding among individuals with and without disabilities.

“Sunday Funday” will be held at 1 p.m. on April 17 in the Douglass Campus Center, Trayes Hall Room 104, 100 George St., New Brunswick. Sign in begins at 12:30 p.m.

Activities will include icebreakers, social activities, music, food and prizes.

To register to attend as a mentee or a mentor, visit www.disabilityallies.com/events. Mentors must be 18 to 55 years old.
