Library to celebrate its centennial with a birthday bash

The Long Branch Free Public Library will host a birthday party celebrating its centennial at the Main Library at 4 p.m. Aug. 23 and at the Elberon Branch at 4:45 p.m. Aug. 24.

Visit the libraries for an afternoon of old-fashioned birthday party games, including “pin the tail on the donkey,” sack races and parachute fun. The celebration includes pony rides, a petting zoo and a dunk tank.
