In an effort to help local schools, AAA Mid-Atlantic will collect school supplies from through Sept. 15 at more than 60 AAA locations including its retail and car care centers.

The campaign, “Building Blocks to Support Our Future Members,” encourages AAA associates, members and the general public to donate new, unused, unwrapped school supplies. Some of the most urgently needed supplies include pencils, composition books and folders.

Nearby locations include 260 Route 18, East Brunswick; 251 Route 35, Eatontown; 2222 Route 27, Edison, 889 Route 35, Middletown; and Southside Nine Plaza, 4010 Route 9, Morganville.

Local schools set to receive the donations include the Long Branch School District; Ocean Avenue Elementary, Middletown; United Way, Stuff the Bus of Monmouth County, Morganville.
