Board of Education election overview for the Suburban

The following races will be held for local Boards of Education:

  • In Old Bridge, incumbents Jill Cali, Balwinder Singh and Annette Tunyla Hopman; and newcomers Walter Reed and Matthew Sulikowski will seek three three-year terms.
  • In Sayreville, incumbents Daniel Balka, John Walsh and Lucille Bloom; and newcomer Ryan De La Uz will vie for three, three-year terms.
  • In South Amboy, incumbents Jessica Colacci, Samantha Seaman and Tyler Simko; and newcomers Ann Marie “Amy” McLaughlin and Raymond Perez will challenge each other for three, three-year terms. Kevin Riley will run unopposed for a one-year unexpired term.

Election Day is Nov. 8.
