Youth program to foster holistic well-being

The North Brunswick Municipal Alliance Committee will present a free 10-week program for third through eighth graders this spring, called “Girls on the Move” and “Boys on the Move,” which focus on substance abuse prevention, positive decision making and health and wellness through fun activities.

The girls will meet from 5-6 p.m. Tuesdays, April 4-May 23 at North Brunswick Community Park, 2053 Route 130 south. The boys will meet from 5-6 p.m. Thursdays, April 6-May 25 at Community Park. The last session for both groups will be on Memorial Day, May 29, during the North Brunswick 5K run.

Snacks and t-shirts will be provided to all participants.

North Brunswick Township High School student volunteers are also needed.
