A 26-year-old East Windsor Township man was charged with driving under the influence, careless driving, reckless driving and failure to maintain lane after a police officer observed his car weaving on Route 33 Feb. 19. He allegedly showed signs of impairment and was arrested after failing field sobriety tests. He was processed and released.

Two Elkins Park, Pa., men, ages 28 and 29, were charged with shoplifting for allegedly leaving the ShopRite grocery store on Route 130 without paying for items valued at a combined $519.98 Feb. 18. They were charged on a complaint summons.

A 28-year-old Hightstown man was charged with driving under the influence, careless driving, reckless driving, driving with no lamps, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle and having an unsealed container of alcohol in a motor vehicle Feb. 16. He was stopped by police for allegedly driving a vehicle without headlights on Stockton Street. He allegedly showed signs of impairment and was arrested after failing field sobriety tests. He was processed and released.

A 55-year-old Princeton woman was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, careless driving and refusal to submit to breath samples Feb. 15. A police officer stopped the driver in a parking lot on Route 571 after receiving information that the vehicle was being driven erratically. The woman allegedly showed signs of impairment and was arrested after failing field sobriety tests. She was processed and released.

A 44-year-old Hamilton Township man was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving and careless driving after police responded to a call about a vehicle being driven erratically Feb. 13. A police officer stopped the vehicle on Dutch Neck Road. The driver allegedly showed signs of impairment and was arrested after failing field sobriety tests. He was processed and released.

A 34-year-old East Windsor Township woman, who was involved in a hit-and-run crash on Lake Drive, was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, careless driving and leaving the scene of an accident Feb. 13. When police went to her home, she allegedly showed signs of impairment and was arrested after failing field sobriety tests. She was processed and released.

A 21-year-old East Windsor Township resident was charged with shoplifting for allegedly attempting to leave Walmart on Route 130 without paying for merchandise valued at $309.37 Feb. 13. The resident was processed and released.
