East Windsor Township and Hightstown Borough voters will nominate candidates for an array of elected offices in the Democratic and Republican party primaries June 6.
The polling places will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Early voting will take place June 2-4. Ballots may be cast at any of seven early voting sites in Mercer County. The list of sites is available at www.mercercounty.org/government/county-clerk/elections.
In East Windsor Township, incumbent Township Council members Janice S. Mironov, Marc Lippman and John Zoller and newcomer Anthony Katawick, all Democrats, are running unopposed for their party’s nomination to run for East Windsor Township Council.
Paul K. Hummel Jr., Anna Lustenberg and Steve Uccio are running unopposed for the Republican Party’s nomination to run for East Windsor Township Council. No one signed up to run for the fourth seat.
Incumbent Hightstown Borough Council members Joseph Cicalese and Christina C. Fowler, who are Democrats, are running unopposed for their party’s nod to run for the council.
Jeet M. Gulati is running unopposed for the Democratic Party’s nomination to fill an unexpired one-year term on the Hightstown Borough Council.
The Republican Party did not field any candidates for the Hightstown Borough Council.
In the 14th Legislative District, incumbent state Sen. Linda Greenstein is unopposed for the Democratic Party nomination. Patricia Johnson is running unopposed for the Republican Party nomination for state Senate.
Incumbent Assembly member Wayne P. DeAngelo and newcomer Tennille R. McCoy, both Democrats, are seeking their party’s nomination for the two Assembly seats.
A three-way battle is shaping up for the Republican Party nomination for the two Assembly seats. Adam J. Elias, Skye Gilmartin and Bina Shah are running for the party’s nomination in the only contested race on the June 6 primary ballot.
Voters also will nominate candidates for Mercer County Executive, Mercer County Board of County Commissioners and Mercer County Sheriff.
For Mercer County Executive, Dan Benson is running unopposed for the Democratic Party nomination, and Lisa Marie Richford is unopposed for the Republican Party nomination.
Incumbent Mercer County Commissioners John Cimino and Lucylle R.S. Walter are facing no opposition for the Democrat Party primary nomination. Joseph Stillwell and Denise “Neicy” Turner are running unopposed for the Republican Party nomination for the Mercer County Commission.
Incumbent Mercer County Sheriff John “Jack” Kemler is unopposed for the Democratic Party nomination to run for sheriff. Bryan “Bucky” Boccanfuso is unopposed for the Republican Party nomination.
