The terms of Mark Bonjavanni, Suzanne Brennan and Mary Cerretani will be on the ballot. Cerretani recently resigned from the board because she moved out of Howell, according to Board Secretary Ron Sanasac.

District officials have said a resident will be appointed to serve the remainder of Cerretani’s term through Jan. 4.

The candidates for the three-year terms are Bonjavanni, Laurence Gurman, Cristy Mangano, Angel D. Sanchez and Ira Thor.

In other local races:

• Two three-year terms on the Jackson School District Board of Education will be on the Nov. 8 ballot. The terms of board President Sharon Dey and board member Thomas Colucci will end in December. Dey, Colucci and Michael Walsh are running for the three-year terms.

• Two three-year terms on the Plumsted Township School District Board of Education will be on the Nov. 8 ballot. The terms of board members Leslie Septor and Garrett Midget will end in December. Septor and Joseph Surdo are running for the three-year terms.

• Two three-year terms and one two-year term on the Farmingdale Public School Board of Education will be on the Nov. 8 ballot. The terms of board members Gary Maser and Bonnie Wright will end in December. Wright and Carly Immen are running for the three-year terms. Board member Beau Byrtus is running for the two-year term.

• The Freehold Regional High School District will have three seats available in the Nov. 8 election. The terms of Kathie Lavin of Farmingdale, Amy Fankhauser of Howell and Elizabeth Canario of Englishtown will expire at the end of the year. All three board members are running unopposed to retain their seats.

School board members are not paid for their service to the community.
