Twenty-five New York and Northern New Jersey real estate professionals were welcomed to an exclusive, half-day trolley tour of Rumson and its surrounding communities to showcase the refined living, culture and accessibility of the region on Sept. 14. The event was hosted by Gloria Nilson & Co. Real Estate’s Rumson office.
Featuring two vintage Trolley Car replicas, agents and management from Gloria Nilson & Co. served as tour guides to Realtors from New York’s premier luxury broker, Brown Harris Stevens, Turpin Realtors, the dominant broker in the luxury markets of Far Hills, Bedminster and Chatham, and Special Properties which services the Saddle River and Ridgewood area of Bergen County. All three brokerages, along with Gloria Nilson & Co., are affiliates of Christie’s International Real Estate.
The Trolley Tour introduced the agents to must-see locations in and around Rumson, Middletown, Sea Bright and downtown Red Bank, noting the region’s many selling points including commuter access, school districts, art and culture venues and proximity to Manhattan. A scenic catered luncheon was served at Riverside, an exceptional, 12-plus acre estate on the bluffs of the Navesink River, currently listed by Gloria Nilson & Co.
“The idea was to invite a select group brokers who lead their respective markets and expose them to what so many who live here call New Jersey’s best-kept secret, which is the lifestyle and opportunity of living in the area,” noted P.J. The weather was beautiful, and the feedback has been nothing short of amazing.”
The half-day event is part of Gloria Nilson & Co.’s company-wide effort to market the Monmouth County region, not just individual properties, to real estate professionals who might not be familiar with the beauty, lifestyle and other amenities of the area.
